Organizational Meeting of the Evergreen Admin Group
Tuesday, May 21, 2024

Agreed to continue with monthly meetings 11 a.m. PST the third Tuesdays of the month. Terran added the group to the community calendar.

We briefly chatted about a listserv at the meeting. The consensus was to start with just using the general listserv, but to look at getting a separate one if there end up being a lot of messages. If you think we should get a separate list, though, we could always revisit that at the meeting in June!

Also at this meeting, we spent time introducing ourselves and giving some background on our different systems.

Next meeting will be 11 a.m. PST June 18

Chose Evergreen Administrators Group for name. 

Topics for future meetings: 
  * Round table of what everyone is working on/what is annoying them
  * Create list of bugs specific to our group
  * Understanding/Creating/Organizing policies
  * Chaos to order (creating policies where there were none)
  * Troubleshooting basics
  * Permission Group management
  * Notifications
  * Support Desk ideas
  * How to speak "Developer"
  * Identifying and working on bugs that are of interest to us as admins that may not be of interest to developers
  * Tools that help us
  * Like a tool to find the circ matrix matchpoint (suggested by Benjamin)
