====== Evergreen Reports Interest Group Meeting - November 30, 2022 ======


  * **Meeting Time**: 2 PM Eastern

**Agenda:**

  * Report ID in interface - Terran will submit a patch
  * Jessica may look at exporting/importing templates when Angular interface is out
  * PA changed the way their ILL statistics are counted in their annual report. Materials that left the building and circulated to a patron not owned by the owning library. Only outside of the system.
  * Simple Reporter 
    * Used for a data dump of broad category, example, items by status
    * 1 or 2 data points from same family of info
    * Too many data points from different areas will cause the reports not to run
  * Quick Reports
    * Written in PHP, PINES would like to see it integrated with EG
    * Executive reports "dashboard" could be a useful component
  * Counting Opinions - vendor to compile state report in GA
  * New set of canned reports? Could be similar to the new Concerto data set project.
  * Contributing to wiki
    * Where to start? 
      * You can contribute very basic templates to give beginners a feel for where to start
      * You can run the one of the reports under "Reports about Reports" and contribute your most used templates.
      * We will have a working session to just focus on contributing templates to the wiki next year
  * Bibliomation is doing a big shared templates cleanup project with an internal reports working group made up of member libraries. Trying to take template cleanup in small chunks like a weeding project.
  * Ideas for meetings next year:
    * Crossover with CIG on collection development/analysis reports (scheduled for February meeting)
    * PINES Quick Reports (as a framework for future EG development)
    * Working session for contributing templates to the wiki
    * Crossover with other working groups
    * Ask Galen talk about something :)
