====== The Parts of Evergreen ======

There are three major "parts" of Evergreen:

   - **Staff Client**. This is the part of the software that library staff will be most familiar with, and will utilize the most in their day-to-day responsibilities. It's the part of the software the library staff use to interact with the Evergreen software.
   - **Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)**. This is the "web catalog" that most patrons associate with the library. It allows the patron to locate materials and maintain their account. 
   - **Server-side Application**. This is the part of Evergreen that resides on the PINES servers. It's the "guts" of the system, and discussion of this part of Evergreen is only located in the developer or sys-admin sections of the documentation.
