====== Upgrading OpenSRF 1.2 to 1.4 ======

OpenSRF 1.4 brings some new requirements, such as the libmemcached library. The easiest way to upgrade to a 1.4 release of OpenSRF is to completely  [[zzz_archive:opensrf:1.4:install|install OpenSRF 1.4 from source]], including the Makefile.install step for installing prerequisites on your system. You should be able to keep your 'opensrf.xml'' and ''opensrf_core.xml'' files the same.
