Evergreen Voluntary Product Accessibility Template / Accessibility Conformance Report

The latest Accessibility Conformance Report, for Evergreen 3.14, is now available. It reflects the significant progress made since 3.11.

An updated bug list based on the 3.14 review is forthcoming.

Evergreen users who have not upgraded to 3.14 should refer to the 2023 ACR below.

In 2023, the Evergreen Project Board commissioned a VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) review of the OPAC interfaces of Evergreen version 3.11. The Accessibility Conformance Report is available in PDF format.

The 3.14 release included fixes for an additional 48 OPAC accessibility bugs. All the Launchpad issues were marked as duplicates of bug 2048666 for committers' sanity.

Evergreen does not currently have an ACR for the staff client. The Board intends to commission accessibility reports for the various staff modules on a rolling basis.

However, the Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation (CIDI) audited the staff client in 2019, and that report has led to a number of accessibility improvements. Check the Accessibility tag on Launchpad for the current status of the issues identified in the report.
