Social Media Updates
We now have a presence on LinkedIn with the Evergreen Project LinkedIn page. The page now has 78 followers. I am still waiting for review of the Evergreen ILS Product page that should fall under the project page. LinkedIn kicked it back to me once already and asked for additional information.
In order to build the number of followers across our three social media platforms, I have issued a karaoke challenge to first reach a total of 1,000 followers and then to double our number of followers to 1,286. Since that challenge was issued, we only picked up 71 followers for a total of 714 across our social media platforms, so I may have set the bar too high?
The Project Board approved funds to support using Publer to post to the three social media platforms. I am now working with Katie Greenleaf Martin to get the non-profit discount and add a credit card to the account. This platform will be essential for scheduling contractually-required posts for the conference, but also has some other cool functionality, some of which I haven't explored yet.
We now have a nonprofit pro account with Publer.
