DIG Report for 11/4/11 Community Meeting
Our next meeting is scheduled for November 7 at 2:30 PM EST on the Freenode IRC network (http://evergreen-ils.org/irc.php). Anyone with interest in documentation is welcome to attend.
This October, Robert Soulliere restructured the documentation Git repository based on suggestions from Dan Scott. The new structure adopts a more common version control branching scheme, where each major version of EG receives its own branch. The new structure will help DIG better maintain current and future versions of the EG release documentation.
We can use help with writing documentation, reviewing existing documentation, and pointing out gaps in the documentation that need filling. Much of our work happens on the documentation interest group mailing list, so if you're interested in helping in a big or small way, that's a good place to get in touch.
