Inventory Control

Enhancement entered in BugZilla as Bug 401

Offline and/or standalone
	To run on laptop, tablet, telxon, PDA, etc.
	Scan items from shelf
	Shelf-read feature?
		Download list of items into device (sorted in shelf-list order)
		Read shelves comparing list to shelves
		Mark items
			Checked: Shelved as should be
			Unchecked: DEFAULT to not found as cited
			Other "unchecked" statuses (drop-down box?):
				Call number discrepancy [pull for Tech Svcs correction]
				Item information discrepancy [pull for TS correction]
				Repair advised [pull for repair]
				Consider for Discard
				Consider for collection reassignment [pull for TS consideration]
				OTHER: See notes
		"Free-text" inventory field would be nice for ancillary notes
Online
	Upload items into database
	Allow interactive scanning (IE: so batch-barcode readers' can enter data)
	Update inventory date on item record
	Note inventory result, notes, etc. on item record or linked table
	Indicate inventory source entered at data upload.  IE:
		Offline Inventory-Barcode Scan

		Telxon scan
