The 2026 Hack-A-Way is hosted by PINES with financial support from The Evergreen Project.

Athens is a vibrant college town approximately 85 miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport (or, as locals affectionately know it, "Hartsfield-Latoya Jackson International Spaceport and Wig Emporium”). Home to the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), Athens was the birthplace of REM and the B-52’s during the exploding 70s and 80s music scene, and remains a thriving hub for music and art today.

• Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport - The busiest airport in the world, serving 106 million passengers per year! Located in Atlanta, hub for Delta. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get your bags when you arrive, and plan to be at the airport a minimum of 2 hours prior to your flight home.
• Groome Transportation provides airport shuttles between the airport and Athens.
• The airport also offers numerous car rental services.
• PINES staff will be available for airport trips as well. We will provide a sign-up sheet to arrange carpool groups.
