Automating the process of notifying patron's via the phone.

The Grand Rapids Public Library System has been using an Asterisk based telephone notification system since they went live in October 2008. They also have setup a Telephone renewal system that uses Asterisk.

The Grand Rapids Public Library has contributed their code back to the Evergreen project. It can be browsed through or downloaded from http://svn.open-ils.org/trac/ILS-Contrib/browser/grpl/trunk
