If the Apache gateway is installed, the a gateway.xml.example file will be placed into the ETCDIR. Copy this file to gateway.xml and edit:

1. domain1 should be the jabber domain
2. for chop chop, username and password don't matter
3. point client log to a valid log location (that the Apache process has write access to)
4. port must be the port *number* that chop chop is listening on (usually 5222)
