EDI with SFTP Evergreen supports sending and receiving EDI files via SFTP. As of April 15, 2024, SFTP is required for EDI file transmissions with Ingram. Known Issues Because of differences in supported Linux distributions, Evergreen's original EDI SFTP implementation did not always work. It was known to fail on Ubuntu 20.04, but work on Ubuntu 22.04, for instance.

EDI Info & Troubleshooting * Your vendor is expecting to receive certain EDI segments in your EDI files. That's why the INCLUDE_EMPTY fields are available in EDI Attributes. You can't just opt out of sending those segments on a per-order basis, even if there's no value to be sent. I.E. If you normally send shelving location, but didn't assign shelving location on one item, you still have to send the blank value otherwise your whole order will fail.

Acquisitions Ideal for Firm Orders I would like to be able to search multiple sites including our catalog and vendor web sites at the same time. This could also be done by a clerk from a catalog that has item circled by the selector. Or alternately a selector could create lists on various websites.
