Evergreen System Administration Interest Group The Evergreen System Administration Interest Group has been meeting annually at the Evergreen International Conference since 2012. It has traditionally been an informal meeting of Evergreen administrators of various skill levels, and the topics discussed usually concern implementation of Evergreen, including server environments, installation, software specifics (PostgreSQL/Apache/OpenSRF/etc.).

User Interface Interest Group This is a new interest group that will collaborate to standardize the Evergreen user interface and establish a design system, including a component pattern library and a written style guide. Mailing List is a dedicated mailing list for the new UI group. Note that new members must be approved by a Google Group owner; this is a spam prevention measure. We usually approve requests within a few minutes.

Using MeetBot for IRC Meetings Meetbot is an IRC plugin that has been installed to pinesol to facilitate and support the various meetings that take place in the Evergreen IRC channel. Full manual: General Usage Commands #startmeeting This command tells MeetBot to begin listening for creation of meeting notes later. If you include any text after the command, it will become the meeting topic.

Using pinesol in the Evergreen IRC channel pinesol green is considered a "concierge bot," or program that listens for commands sent to it through IRC. pinesol then takes specific actions for the commands it receives. General Usage Commands When exploring these commands, we recommend chatting with pinesol privately. This prevents the main channel from getting all of your back and forth with the bot.
