Accessibility Web Client Audit

In June 2019, the Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation (CIDI) completed an accessibility audit on the Evergreen web client. The audit was paid for with a grant from the Georgia ADA coordinator's office. It was completed on a test server using the PINES database, running version 3.2.3.

The results of the study can be found below. The results documents include:

  • A spreadsheet with a listing of WCAG 2.0/2.1 success criteria issues identified on each evaluated web page, impact of the issue on users, level of effort to fix, and recommendations
  • A report containing an Executive Summary and WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA Success Criteria conformance, detailed samples of issues identified for each success criteria out of conformance, and impact to users and recommendations for remediation
  • A brief supplemental video that provides many of the user testing findings including barriers found when navigating the website with assistive technology.

The issues addressed in the audit have been created into LaunchPad bugs with the tag accessibility – see all the open bugs here: Accessibility.
