jaschmidt:evergreen_installer

The evergreen.sh is a script which automates the installation of Evergreen for Debian Linux. The install script has been used to install Evergreen in a Vserver instance, a chroot, and a regular Debian Etch installation. I recommend using the script in a chroot before installing Evergreen in your normal Debian environment.

To install Evergreen, execute the following as root:

  /bin/sh ./evergreen.sh -v etch -i

A complete walk through of the install process is found in readme.txt. The evergreen.sh and evergreen_chroot.sh are found in evergreen.tar.
