DIG Agenda - Thursday, March 1, 2012

This meeting will be held on the #evergreen channel on the Freenode IRC network (http://evergreen-ils.org/irc.php) beginning at 2:00 PM EST. Current and future DIG participants are encouraged to attend, and any interested members of the Evergreen Community are welcome as well. For updates, notifications, and discussion please sign up for the Evergreen Documentation Discussion List.

  1. Volunteer to Take Minutes?
  2. Introductions: paste ”/me is <name> <affiliation>” to identify who you are and what organization, if any, you represent
  3. Updates from Content Coordinators
  4. Old Business
    1. Plan DIG Hackfest
      1. Create list of Hackfest goals
      2. find DIG member to welcome and introduce DIG to newcommers
  1. New Business
    1. Interest in starting an "official" and actively maintained list of things (software, hardware, etc.) compatible with EG? Policy for managing the list?
    2. Decide if meeting on the first Thursday of the month should be the default DIG meeting time, while allowing alternate meeting days and times when the need arises.
    3. Discuss DIG related Evergreen conference issues (suggested by Yamil)
      1. Decide facilitator for the DIG working group meeting on Wednesday of the 2012 International Conference.
      2. Start discussing possible agenda items for EG conference DIG meeting.
      3. Start discussing possible goals for DIG work during Hackfest (and rest of conference).
      4. Start discussing possible logistics for accomplishing DIG goals during Hackfest (and rest of conference)
