Let's look at some permissions bugs! Here are some options:

• Permission issue in Receive Shipment feature (LP2055089): This is a 'perm not in seed data' issue that Llewellyn was working on, but is currently at needswork status.
  • UPDATE: We verified that Llewellyn had actually already made these changes so we tested them and created a sign-off branch.
• PATRON_BARRED.override permission missing in seed data (LP2062023): Brand new bug report that we can fix following the same method as bug 2055089.
  • UPDATE: Steven Mayo submitted a pullrequest for this the next day!
• Remove UPDATE_ORG_SETTING permission (LP2043218): There are several unused permissions that should be cleared out of the code, so we could look at this one to see what it would entail.
  • UPDATE: This one needs further discussion and understanding how different libraries may use it - not quite as bite-sized as initially thought!
• Edit link near call number should only appear if staff has the appropriate UPDATE_VOLUME permission (LP2015112): This is a similar issue to LP1920815, so could be a similar fix.
  • UPDATE: We confirmed that the code for LP1920815 was a early identical fix, so we leveraged that and created a new pullrequest.
• wishlist: incorporate EVERYTHING permission with (or where) usr_has_perm_at (LP2024863): This seems very complicated, but may be a good topic for discussion?
